Notion is great. But it answers to a $10B valuation, not to you. Blokx is one person — me — building in the open and answering to nobody but the people using it.
How it started
This is what I look at every day.
That chevron means “this page has subpages.” Except it doesn’t. Notion has known about this for years. There are threads. There are votes. Nothing happens — because fixing a UI quirk for regular users doesn’t move a $10B valuation.
I couldn’t take it any longer so I built Blokx. Not because Notion is bad. Because when you answer to investors instead of users, the small things that matter will never get fixed. Here, they do.

Features come from real demand — first what I want, second what the community votes for. If you ask for something and enough people agree, it gets built.

I'm self-funded. That means I answer to the people using Blokx — not to a board that wants to 10x returns by chasing enterprise contracts instead of you.

AI is great — when it's actually wanted.
I use AI every day and Blokx is built with it. But AI shouldn't take precedence over the basics — that's how a broken chevron stays broken for years. I'll add AI features when the community wants them.

No free tier. No feature gates. No "upgrade to unlock" prompts. One subscription, everything included.

Blokx is built for individuals. You can use it at work, but there's no business tier coming — no admin dashboards, no seat-based pricing. That's where the real money is, I get it, but Blokx stays personal anyway.
